Earthdy (Earth Day)
It is reported in newspapers and online news that there are more than 140 million infected people in countries and regions around the world as of April 21.
It can be calculated as about 2% of the world's population (7.8 billion), but there was also an article that the number of infected people has apparently increased explosively overseas since coming here.
In the recent net news, there were also reports that people who had been vaccinated twice had been infected with coronavirus.
There is a reality that makes you want to lament what you vaccinated for. I feel the pain of the person who suffered.
Vaccines are not therapeutic drugs... they are vaccinations.
If you look at such an article, you are concerned about whether the mutant strain is ineffective.
Because I hit the vaccine, "it's all right now" is too easy.
I think that it is necessary to think about the future correspondence while referring to the above-mentioned event well.
I feel that I am being asked very much what human beings should prepare.
But I digress.
Today, April 22nd is Earth Day, which has been held as Earthdy for a long time since 1970.
The other day, I heard from an old student and was so ignorant that I hurriedly examined it.
It originated in 1969 when an oil spill occurred in Santa Barbara, California, USA.
Since then, Earth Day, which spotlights the earth's serious environmental problems such as climate crisis, air pollution, and deforestation, will be celebrated on April 22, and it is said that it has become an international campaign mainly for environmental activists.
This year's theme for 2021 is "Restoring the Earth", and how can humanity lose the damage it will do to the earth in the process of society recovering from the devastating blow caused by the new coronavirus pandemic? And, it was said that it appealed for the system of the society to be rebuilt in order to reap and repair the environmental destruction that human beings had caused so far.
What can each person do on the earth that is the land that I live in? I think such a campaign is a good opportunity to stop and think.
At the end of today's blog, I found a very interesting, life tip for the student himself from a video, so
It is very deep to everyone, but I will leave it to share.
"I asked God to give me strength to accomplish big things, but I was given weakness to learn 'humility.' I asked for health so that I could do something great, but I was given a sickness so that I could do 'better things'. I was endowed with poverty because I sought wealth in an search for happiness, but I was 'wise'. He asked for success in an attempt to win the admiration of the people of the world, but he was given a failure not to become 'good at it'. I asked for everything to enjoy life, but I was given life to "rejoice" in everything. I was not given anything I asked for, but all my wishes were heard. Everything that cannot be expressed in the heart has come true, even though it is not in god's will. I was the most 'blessed' of all men. 」
As a poem, it is very long sentences, but I feel that the message in it is very powerful.
In order to make the earth a "wonderful" place, it was posted as a picture (message) of those who continued to be made efforts and left for the other world.
